Ascend is free to use. This release offers optional one-time tips. It has no subscriptions or Premium purchase.
Optional one-time tips
Small, medium and large tips are repeatable consumable in-app purchases. Tips are optional and support Ascend development; they are not charitable donations or tax-deductible contributions. No Ascend account is required. Current tips unlock no feature, content, entitlement, or service. Apple processes payment through its in-app purchase system. The localized price displayed by Apple at purchase time is the price that applies. Apple charges your App Store account only after confirmation.
A completed tip is consumed and provides no ongoing access to restore. Ascend does not offer a "Restore tips" control. An interrupted or pending Apple transaction may still complete through the store; do not start a duplicate purchase to recover it.
What is free
Everything you need to train, with nothing held back by session count. Logging workouts, the rest and workout timers, streaks, awards and XP, personal records and estimated 1RM, light and dark themes and the colour palettes, as many training days a week as you want, the whole exercise library with its instructions and demonstration videos, and locally stored exercise history and trends. No account is required for workouts.
Refunds
Tip purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund through Apple's purchase support.
Privacy
Apple processes payment, and RevenueCat handles purchase validation and transaction history. Ascend never receives or stores your payment-card details. RevenueCat uses an anonymous customer identifier in V2. Earlier signed-in purchases may remain associated with an account. See the privacy policy for what is stored and where.
