Contact Support01 / Training
Build a routine around how you train, schedule it across your week, then use it when it is time to work. Ascend keeps your planned work and completed training together.
Add workout days and exercises, then choose sets and rep targets that fit your plan.
Assign training, rest, or step-goal days to build a weekly rhythm.
Open today’s workout, log sets, reps, and weight as you move through each exercise.
Complete your workout, then review workout history and strength progress over time.
02 / Apple Watch
Ascend has an Apple Watch companion app designed for use during workouts. Start and complete workout sets from Apple Watch without reaching for your iPhone, and log reps and progress from your wrist while training.
Create and edit workout routines in the iPhone app. Detailed workout history, settings, and progress analysis are also available in the iPhone app.
Confirm Ascend is installed and up to date on your iPhone. Open Apple’s Watch app, find Ascend in Available Apps, and install or enable it. Keep both devices updated to supported versions of iOS and watchOS.
Open Ascend on your iPhone, then open it on Apple Watch. Keep the devices paired, nearby, and connected through Bluetooth or Wi-Fi. The watch mirrors an active workout from the iPhone app.
Check that your Apple Watch is paired and connected to the iPhone in Apple’s Watch app. Turn Bluetooth back on if needed, then reopen Ascend on both devices.
On iPhone, check the Health app and confirm Ascend has permission to read the activity data you want to display. Health access is managed in Apple’s Health settings and can be changed at any time.
Close and reopen Ascend on both devices. If the issue continues, restart your iPhone and Apple Watch, then contact support with your iPhone and watchOS versions.
03 / Apple Health
Ascend can integrate with Apple Health (HealthKit). When you allow access, Ascend reads steps, heart rate, active calories, and walking/running, cycling, and swimming distances. Distance readings only suggest post-workout totals for matching activities.
You control Health permissions in Apple’s Health settings. You can change or remove Ascend’s access there at any time. Ascend does not write data to Apple Health.
If Health data does not appear, open the Health app on iPhone and review Ascend’s read permissions.
04 / Workout tracking
During a workout, log each set with its reps and weight. Use the rest timer between efforts, then complete the session when you are done. Your completed workouts remain available in workout history, and strength progress charts help you see changes across your training.
05 / Notifications
Enable training-day reminders in Ascend’s notification settings and choose a reminder time. Ascend can also notify you about rest timers, streak risk, weekly summaries, and award unlocks when those options are enabled.
Notification delivery is controlled by iPhone Settings. If notifications are off, allow Ascend in Settings > Notifications > Ascend, then return to Ascend to manage each notification type.
06 / Local use
Ascend V2 has no account creation or sign-in. Workouts, plans, and settings remain on this device. Optional tips do not require an account.
07 / Device data
To permanently erase workouts and settings, open More, select your profile, then choose Erase workouts on this device. This is a separate confirmed action. Uninstalling the app removes local app data, subject to operating-system backups.
If you created an account in an earlier build, request deletion through support. See account and data deletion for details.
08 / Privacy
Ascend V2 has no account sign-in or workout cloud sync. Workouts stay on your device. Ascend does not share your data with advertisers and does not show advertising in the app.
09 / Contact support
Tell us what happened and, if useful, include your device model and iOS version. We will help you get back to training.
