At a glanceUse Steps for personal fitness tracking. Activity numbers can vary, and the app is not a source of medical advice.
Using Steps
These terms apply to Steps: Daily Walk Tracker, developed by ksilapps. By using the app, you agree to these terms. You may use it for personal, lawful activity tracking and stop at any time. Tracking, general Insights, Goals, and Achievements remain free, and no separate Steps account is required.
Steps Pro & purchases
Steps Pro is an optional, one-time, non-consumable Lifetime Pro purchase, with no recurring subscription. It unlocks Overview tile details, premium palettes and custom colors, and eligible iCloud app-state sync. The current localized price is shown in the app and Apple’s purchase confirmation before you pay. Availability depends on the App Store and purchase-service configuration.
Apple processes payment under its applicable App Store terms. RevenueCat validates and restores purchase access. After reinstalling or changing devices, use Restore Purchases on the Pro screen with the Apple account used for the purchase. A pending or uncompleted payment does not unlock Pro. A refunded or revoked purchase may remove Pro access.
Lifetime Pro has no renewal charge; it grants access to the Pro features offered in this app while the app and those services remain available. It does not guarantee perpetual operation, compatibility, or availability of Apple or other services. Refund requests are handled by Apple under its rules and applicable consumer rights; see Apple’s refund guidance. Resetting app data does not cancel or refund a purchase.
Sync & reminders
Eligible Pro settings, goals, plans, and awards can sync through your private iCloud account. Steps does not sync activity measurements or body measurements through this feature. Sync depends on account access, connectivity, and service availability and may be delayed. It does not guarantee complete activity or streak restoration. Reset Local Data leaves the cloud copy intact, which can restore later.
Optional Daily Progress and Goal Reminder notifications depend on permission, readable activity, and iOS scheduling. Delivery time and up-to-date content cannot be guaranteed. They are general fitness reminders.
Understanding your activity
Steps helps you follow activity and set Goal Day and Recovery Day targets. Counts, distance, and energy may be estimated, delayed, or incomplete. Results depend on your device, permissions, data sources, and synchronization. Apple Health Active Energy can include activity beyond walking; estimated walking energy is approximate. The hourly chart uses iPhone motion data and may differ from a daily total that includes Apple Watch activity.
Today can change as sources update. Completed historical summaries are finalized locally and can differ from later Health corrections or delayed Watch synchronization. Goal and plan edits apply to today and later dates rather than rewriting saved past results. Missing data is distinct from zero activity.
Steps is for general fitness information. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not rely on it for medical or safety-critical decisions. Choose activities appropriate for you and seek professional advice for health concerns.
